At Greendell Community Centre, we are committed to enhancing the lives of members of the community through our wide range of activities and events. Over the years, we have been recognized as the community centre that feels like home.
Since opening our doors to the community in 1947, we have provided members with the chance to get together and experience what we’re all about. Our mission has always been to provide a physical, cultural and educational experience for members of Greendell and the surrounding community — and we’ve done everything we can to achieve this goal to this very day.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Greendell Park Community Centre is to welcome, include and engage our diverse community through participation in recreation activities. We are a neighbourhood destination and a family tradition.

The vision of the Greendell Park Community Centre Board is to:
- Provide leadership, structure, and direction to staff and volunteers.
- Engage and inform our community about programs and events.
- Respond to community recreation needs in a strategic way.
- Track and celebrate measurable deliverables (repeat participation).
- Communicate to, and ensure mentorship and succession for convenors.
- Promote our heroes, our history and our happenings.
Our Vision
The vision of the Greendell Park Community Centre is to:
- Welcome our community. Be an exciting neighbourhood "go-to" place where the door is open, activities are on and all neighbours are welcomed by a staff member, volunteer or program leader.
- Promote participation. Celebrate successes, communicate up-coming events.
- Connect locally. Partner strategically and advocate for safer routes to neighbourhood schools and paths.
